20% Off Labor Day Weekend Etsy Sale!

Hey everyone! I am having a 20% off sale on my Etsy Saturday through Monday. All orders placed during this time will be processed this weekend and dropped off at the post office Tuesday morning.  This is a great time to stock up on some pretty summer fabric lines. :)

I have a lot of stuff coming in the next couple of months and am hoping to clear out a lot of bolts that are almost gone to make some room!

If there is a specific print you love or you need a custom bundle just let me know. I have yardage of almost all the fabric in the bundles I just don't usually list single prints on Etsy.  :)

The Etsy coupon code is SUNNY20

Sunnyside Explosion

I'm really enjoying busting apart these fat eighth bundles from Moda and digging in all the prints.  The latest acquisition is Sunnyside by Kate Spain and although these are not my colors either (see Barcelona in last post) I really like them!
Not all of the Sunnyside prints are not my colors. I just don't particularly like orange, yellow, and green.

I am more into blue/purple colors...like these!

Here is my product photography photo taking in action. Normally I use natural light but this summer here in NC has not been so sunny. I've had to resort to plan B pretty much the past few months..my OTT light!

So tomorrow I should finish up my Road 15 mini quilt and then I don't know what I will work on. I need to complete my hash-tag quilt but knowing me I'll probably start another project with some Sunnyside. :)

Sample Spree Straggler

I love getting a Moda box dropped off by the UPS guy. Today's box contained a couple fat eighth bundles of Zen Chic's Barcelona line which will be released in September. I had got these from Sample Spree but they were already out of stock on them and Moda must have just got them back in.

Although these are not really my colors I actually like this combination. I've seen some fun quilts out of it too.

This definitely has a "zen" feeling to it.

You can find these in my Etsy shop. I wasn't able to get the fabric line because it was sold out before I could meet with my Moda rep. so I am not putting it on my site.
Here are all the sample spree bundles I got from Moda's Fall lineup. I only kept a couple things for my own selfish needs.  :)

What else is new.... oh yeah Road 15 as usual is still consuming my fabric life. I am constantly creating new bundles out of it and can't stop playing in it.
Is there a new or old fabric line that you couldn't get enough of? I mean really could not stop using in EVERY.SINGLE.PROJECT. and couldn't stop talking about it or blogging about it? Please tell me I'm not alone.

Too Many Projects

and social media overload!
I really need to cut out some social media in my life. I have 2 blogs, Flickr and Instagram, FaceBook, Etsy, There's probably more I just can't think of it. Regardless I believe it's time to downsize. It's taking up TOO MUCH TIME.
As for the project part..yeah I've started way too many these past couple of weeks.
The downfall of having a fabric store is all the fabric at your disposal.
If I want to start a new quilt it's only a few steps away. Plus when I get charm packs or other fun precuts in the mail I can't help but to dig in and start sewing with them.

So I've got my hashtag quilt started, this mini quilt almost done, and another big quilt that I posted a few days ago that's in the baby stages right now.
Oh...and a quilt as you go tinker tote that I completely screwed up on so is in shreds in our living room.
My goal this week is to finish ONE at least ONE!

What about you? Do you get tired of all the social media there is? Do you have too many projects going on at once?
